Plan your wedding day

A wedding is probably one of the most important days of your life. Whether it is a large event and
party with lot’s of guests or whether it is an elopement consisting of maybe just yourselves and a
few close family members and friends to make something intimate. You need to make sure you
choose the right wedding photographer for the job.

Firstly planing a wedding takes a considerable amount of time and effort. Deciding whether or not
you choose a wedding planner to help illiviate the stresses of organising a wedding or deciding to
go it alone. When are you going to get married ? Will it be a Summer wedding, Spring wedding,
Autumn wedding or Winter wedding ? This will effect the type of wedding boquets available. It
will also effect what type of wedding you will host. Will it be a garden wedding or a beach
wedding, if the weather will be warm enough and less likely to rain ? You will probably be
requesting the services of a marriage celebrant to perform the wedding ceremony and an events
company to provide wedding catering services. Will it be a church wedding where the religous
changing of vows is a priority and you must confirm detail with a priest ? Will it be held inside and
you will need to source quotes from function centres, hotels, resorts and restaurants to hold the
wedding reception ? These are all very important questions to ask yourself.

The next step is finding a wedding dress and this will reflect on what type of wedding you have
decided on and at what time of the year. Choosing your bridal party, who will be your matron of
honour, your bridesmaids and your bestman ? Wow, I bet you didn’t realise how many important
people you have in your lives !
One question however, can be the most important you decide for your wedding day and that is who
will be your wedding photographer ? You want someone who is a professional wedding
photographer, who has years of experience and who knows the importance of capturing those
special moments that you and your partner will cherish for the rest of your lives. Someone that will
be there at those priceless moments when your are sipping champagne with your friends and family
whilst your make up artist is putting those final touches to your dazzling eyes or your hairdresser is
curling those last strands and setting them into place. Having your tuxedo brushed and shoes tied by
your bestman or your wedding dress zipped up by your bridesmaid. The wedding photographer has
probably the most important job to do. They must record this special event from the preparation,
ceremony, family photos, group photos, wedding reception, speeches, cutting of the wedding cake,
first dance and even a photo booth. You want to put your trust in someone that will do the job in a
professional and friendly way.
